Data controller

Data collected

At registration: first name, last name, company, job title (optional), industry, country, phone number, e-mail address and password (stored only as an irreversible hash, never in clear text). We also record the registration date, last sign-in date and your consent choices. The server keeps technical logs (IP address, requested pages) for security, for a few weeks at most.

Purposes and legal bases

• Managing your account and access to the simulator — performance of the terms of use you accept.
• Following up your access request: your details are shared with the Estun sales team of your country, who may contact you about Codroid Studio and Estun robots — legitimate interest.
• Sending you commercial information — only if you ticked the corresponding box; you can withdraw this consent at any time in "My account".
• Keeping the service secure (abuse prevention, sign-in attempt limits) — legitimate interest.

Recipients

Authorised staff of Estun Robotics Europe and the Estun sales teams of the country you indicated. The hosting provider, OVHcloud, acts as a processor. Your data is never sold or rented.

Hosting location

The service is hosted by OVHcloud in its Beauharnois data centre (Canada). The European Commission recognises Canada as providing an adequate level of personal data protection.

Retention

• Registration not confirmed by e-mail: deleted after 7 days.
• Account: kept while in use, then deleted automatically after 3 years without sign-in, or as soon as you delete it.
• Log of e-mails sent by the service: 180 days.
• Simulator access log (date, IP address), used for security and to protect the software against copying: 180 days.

Your rights

You have the right of access, rectification, erasure, portability, restriction and objection, and the right to withdraw your consent. In "My account" you can edit your details, download your data and delete your account. For any other request: mathieu.charles@estun-europe.eu. You may also lodge a complaint with the CNIL (www.cnil.fr) or the data protection authority of your country.

Cookies

The service only uses a session cookie, needed to stay signed in, and a cookie remembering your language. No analytics or advertising cookies.

Security

Encrypted connection (HTTPS), passwords stored as Argon2 hashes, single-use time-limited confirmation and reset links, restricted administration access.
